3. Defrag Pagefile
Keeping
your pagefile defragmented can provide a major performance boost. One
of the best ways of doing this is to create a separate partition on
your hard drive just for your page file, so that it doesn’t get
impacted by normal disk usage. Another way of keeping your pagefile
defragmented is to run PageDefrag. This cool little app can be used to

waste so much time. By updating time stamp in registry, which is last
access update to all sub directory. Proceed with caution:
1. Start>Run>regedit
2. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem"

when you are in booting process. Boot Defrag is the principle of

these feature has been activated in several Build Windows, but in other
case is not, It would be better
if we cross check to this feature one.

Note:
Bootvis also could be tried, to cut boot time with sweet manufer.
7. Speed up Performa Swapfile
If
you have bigger ram than 256MB i can really tell that these tweaking
will makes your system ran more fast. Basically our PC using every byte
from physical memory that store in our Computer, BEFORE using swap file.

The
Following tips are related on how to "set free" Windows from the burden
that resulted in the system becoming slow and more unresponsive
Cleaning Prefetch File to increasing Performa Windows.
These feature much efficient to increasing aggresiveness of windows but no need to play with registry.
What you need is deleting directory/folder prefetch content. Prefetch is a directory that store old link.
Link
that increasingly heaped can causing your computer slow significantly.
Prefetch Directory is on c:windows/prefetch, cleaned prefetch around
2-3 weeks were enough for the use of the standard
Disable Prefetch for System with less memory (under 256MB)
If
your system only have 128MB. Windows prefetch will paralyze your system
because the prefetch attempt to load old link with the purpose of speed
up computer, but the prefetch was did too many loaded & it’s not
making your computer ran faster instead more slowly than normally.
How to disable Prefetch
1. start>run>regedit
2. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher];
3. Double click, type 0 to Disable.
4. reboot.
Booting more faster by decreasing Font burden.
Everytime
windows booting, they always did loading font2 that was registered in
windows. If you are not graphic design, of course not all of those font
are needed. My Suggestion is move all font to another folder.
1. Makes new folder
2. Go to "Fonts" in Control Panel.
3. Point to group font that would be moved.
4. Move to new folder, or for more easier right click then move to My Documents.
5. Reboot, If you need those font that have been moved already, copy and paste back to old directory font.
Speed Up by re-setting Prefetcher.
These
feature in Windows XP is quite unique, and if you do properly, the
result will absolutely amazing, what we going to do is re-setting cache
folder in our windows.
1. start>run>regedit
2. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher]
3. There are 3 option : 0-Disable, 1-App launch prefetch, 2-Boot Prefetch, 3-Both ("3" is the one i recommended).
4. reboot.
Re-Setting this will reduced booting time and Time that was needed to loading the program.
Tweaking memory.
Not only overclock in BIOS that can speed up your PC Works, but these tweaking can’t be missed.
These Tweaking is suggested for them who owned larger memory capacity up to 512MB.
1. start>run>regedit
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
1.DisablePagingExecutive -double click, insert decimal 1 -
this point causing windows XP to store data in memory, rather than accessing page file in harddrive.
2.LargeSystemCache -double click, insert decimal 1- - these tweak allowed kernel windows running in memory. so be careful.
